Here’s how it works:
- You tell me what kind of story you want, and how long it should be.
- I send you a brief outline of the plot and the characters.
- We discuss the outline and make any changes you want.
- I write the story and share it with you as I go along.
- We review the story and make any revisions you want.
- I finalize the story and send it to you.
- You or I hire a copyeditor and a proofreader to polish the story.
- You publish the story on your blog with my name as the author.
That’s it! Simple and straightforward.
Here are some important things to note:
- I have a terms and conditions document that we need to sign before we start working together. It covers things like payment, deadlines, revisions, etc.
- I retain the copyright of the work, and I grant you a license to use it. You can only use the work in its final form, and you must credit me as the author.
- The work will be in Australian English. If you need it in another dialect, you will have to hire a translator.
- I am not a ghostwriter or a copywriter. I write original stories with my own voice and style.
How much do I charge?
I charge $300 (+ GST) per 1,000 words. This is a flat rate that includes research, writing, and revisions. You will have to pay extra for copyediting and proofreading.
